Today, Eventbrite is incredibly excited to announce our most innovative product offering yet. Meet Event Brite Toothpaste: your new best friend as an event organiser.

Announcing the launch, our VP of Hygiene & Dental Strategy, Dr. Arnold Gumm (pictured above) commented: “We know how important it is for event organisers to present their best selves all the time, and this includes a nice smile.

Organisers are forever greeting speakers and artists, shaking hands with fans and attendees – so it’s important they can offer a natural smile that invokes confidence and trust.”

Research conducted by Eventbrite amongst both millennials and boomers showed that being welcomed by a nice smile was a significant contributing factor in their perception of an event.

Nobody wants teeth like this guy

In fact 78% of all respondents cited ‘a nice smile’ as being ‘fundamental to viewing an event in a positive way,’ coming just being a firm handshake (83%) and even before a fast entry to the event (74%).

Commenting on the research, Anita Brush, Eventbrite’s Head of Facial Presentation, said, “We were surprised by how important a bright, genuine smile was for attendees, and given we can offer the smooth event entry experience expected by 74% of attendees, it made sense to help organisers with their next challenge.

Now our products are not only able to help organisers in the office, at home or in the field; we’ve even found a way to support them in their bathroom too.”

In the same survey, it was also revealed that bad breath is one of the top three reasons given by attendees for not recommending an event to their friends (66%) along with poor facilities (70%) and bad food (62%).

In a related research study, Eventbrite separately polled 250 event organisers and found that the majority were ‘not confident’ or ‘actively worried’ about their smile and breath.

This in turn means they smiled less and occasionally even led to them avoiding contact with attendees.

Said one typical response: “When you’re onsite for 12 hours, drinking coffee and eating pastries it’s easy for your teeth to look worse-for-wear and your breath to deteriorate as the day goes on. This has a real impact on my confidence levels and ability to project a positive impression to my attendees.” – R. Canal, founder, MolarCon

To combat this, and ensure organisers always feel at their best, Eventbrite are launching 3 lines of Event Brite Toothpase, including:

· Brite White, a toothpaste with advanced cleaning and whitening properties including nano-crystaline particles
· Field Fresh 24, a toothpaste with active slow-release breath freshening technology that is guaranteed to work for a 24 hour period
· Sensitive Smile, which not only helps reduce teeth sensitivity, but boosts confidence by releasing scientifically tested neuro-toxins to help organisers not only look great, but feel great too.

All Event Brite toothpaste’s will be available from the Brite Store as of May 1, priced at £2.99 per 100ml tube. Organisers looking for bulk buy discounts to distribute the toothpaste to front-of-house staff and gate stewards can contact BriteSmile@eventbritecom for custom pricing.
