Though Lily Knight may not yet be old enough to spell "cryptocurrency," she’s already taking people to school when it comes to Bitcoin.
In a prerecorded video message — because it was past her bedtime — for virtual attendees at the Women of the Future crypto and blockchain conference on Monday, Lily offered some innocent enthusiasm for Bitcoin

to kick off International Women’s Day. The three-year-old, touted as the "world's leading cryptocurrency expert in the toddler space," was the youngest speaker at the virtual event.
"I’ve been a HODLer all my life," Lily said while bobbing her head from side to side. "It’s so cool to see women and girls in the cryptocurrency space. It’s important for us to have empowered financial futures."

Gemini co-founder Tyler Winklevoss lauded Lily’s explanation of the digital currency, saying she "understands Bitcoin better than most central bankers."

Born during the 2017 bull run, Lily started the online show with her parents as part of a quarantine project in August 2020. Her father has teased more episodes on cryptocurrency and blockchain and hopes she will be able to attend conferences herself in the future.
Though Lily is certainly one of the youngest voices in the crypto space, she is by no means the only child HODLing. Last month, Tesla CEO Elon Musk said he had purchased some Dogecoin
