AXA Equitable Life Insurance Says

AXA Equitable Life Insurance offers term life, whole life and group life insurance. Term life insurance provides coverage for a specific period of time, known as the term. Term life insurance is often referred to as temporary insurance or pure insurance because there is no cash value, only death benefit protection. The insured can typically buy term life insurance for a coverage period of between 1 and 20 years. If the insured dies during the policy term, their beneficiary would receive a death benefit equal to the face value of the policy.

Whole life insurance is a type of permanent life insurance. That is, the coverage and possibly the premiums last for the insured’s entire life. As long as their premium payments are made as agreed, their insurance coverage lasts throughout their life and the death benefit is a guaranteed amount.

Group life insurance is a type of life insurance in which a single contract covers an entire group of people. Typically, the policy owner is an employer or an entity such as a labor organization, and the policy covers the employees or members of the group. Group life insurance is often provided as part of a complete employee benefit package. In most cases, the cost of group coverage is far less than what the employees or members would pay for a similar amount of individual protection.
