American United Life Insurance offers a wide variety of life insurance options focusing on individuals, families and small buisness. Among these are whole life, term and variable universal life insurance. Whole Life policies are in force for the entire duration of the insured’s life. As long as the policyholder continues to pay his premiums, the death benefits will be paid for by the insuring company. The pricing varies on the age of the insured at time of the policy’s purchase. Term policies provide coverage to the policyholder for a contracted period of time, either to a specific date or aged. In these policies, the survivors recieve the death benefits if the policyholder dies while the contract is in force. Variable universal life, a form of cash value insurance, allows great flexibility in the time and amount of premium payments, just as long as the total amount over a given time is enough to continue the policy. The cash value in these plans can then be invested in a variety of seperate accounts.
