In 1904, Sentry Insurance was founded by members of the Wisconsin Retail Hardware Association to provide insurance for its members. Now more than 100 years after their founding, they have expanded their insurance line to include group, health, and auto, in addition to a specialization in life.

Sentry Insurance Company offers both term life and permanent life insurance. Their term life provides protection for a certain amount of time plus a cash benefit upon death while their permanent life insurance package provides long-term protection but a higher initial premium. Along with a cash benefit upon death, permanent life insurance also accumulates cash value over time.
