Under the previous program of National Cancer Control, the Indian Government recognized 27 centers for Cancer Treatment in India. In 2010, the Indian government established a comprehensive nationwide program spanning many districts across 21 states and 8 union territories, with the goal of controlling and treating cancer, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and stroke.

All of the authorized centers in the nation will be eligible to receive financial assistance up to 60 million INR for cancer treatment under the auspices of this medical program, which is supported by the Central government.
