Influencers, influencers, everywhere!
As we covered in section one of our Complete Guide to Selling Out Food & Drink Festivals, influencers can be a really powerful ally when it comes to promoting your food and drink festival, especially when you’re trying to reach new audiences and maybe don’t have a huge advertising budget.
To help you identify the right people to work with in promoting your festival, we’ve done the work for you, and dug deep into 3 premium influencer tools – Audiense, BuzzSumo and FollowerWonk – to find the UK’s most important food and drink Twitter users based on a range of different factors.

In order to have made the Top 30 UK influencers on Twitter in food and drink, an influencer will have had to:
• Be ranked by BuzzSumo
• Have a Kred score of over 500
• Have a FollowerWonk social authority of over 50
• Not be a food and drink festival organiser, or a large corporate
We then ranked the list by Kred score (as measured by Audiense), followed by FollowerWonk’s social authority score to get to the Top 30.
While not a criteria for making the Top 30, everyone in the list:
• Has over 3,400 followers (with an average of 35,397)
• Tweeted over 3,500 times (averaging 26,352)
• Is active, with a minimum of 2 tweets per day (and an average of 15)
So with those facts in mind, let’s reveal…
