SEA LIFE After Dark
As we all know, the London Aquarium has long been a hot spot for school parties and tourists. What if we told you, you could go after it closes? An event where no kids were allowed? This is no dream, it is a reality thanks to SeaLife After Dark! You’ll start with a drinks reception prior to heading on the Shark Walk, with sharks swimming just inches away from you. You’ll then get to explore the aquarium, with experience advisors around to learn all about the creatures. These events always go swimmingly!

InShort Film Festival
If you’re getting bored of Hollywood blockbusters and fancy seeing something different, then the In Short Film Festival is for you! This festival contains a multi-national programme of short films that breaks down the boundaries between cultures and ideologies, unifying people through the medium of film. Head to the CINESTER screening if you’re into dark and ominous shorts; EMOTIONAL VOYAGE for a selection of short films that examines the weird, wonderful and strange approaches to human emotion; and finally BRAZIL IN FOCUS, a programme straight from Sao Paulo.

Beer By The River
It may have only been a four-day working week but we’re sure you’ll need a beer! As if by magic The National Trust and Sambrook’s Brewery have organised a Beer Festival. There will be a range of delicious cask ales and craft beers from Sambrook’s Brewery (of course!) but it doesn’t stop there. There’s an abundance of guest breweries include: 5 Points, Binghams, Burning Sky, ELB, Hackney, Hambleton Ales, Hammerton, Hastings & Tiny Rebel (to name just a few!). There will be a selection of food stalls to keep festival goers well fed. Expect delicious food offerings from: The FishClub, Pizzarova, Liberty Cheesesteak, Mad Dog London and Red Hot Chilli Brothers. Cheers!

Bermondsey Folk Festival
Thank folk it’s the weekend! We’re talking about The Bermondsey Folk Festival of course. This weekend Bermondsey will be home to a number of up-and-coming musicians on the folk scene playing over five and a half hours of music for you, and it’s completely free! If you’re in the area this weekend, it’s worth popping in and checking out some amazing act that you may very well be listening to on the radio in the near future.

Silent Disco Yoga
This Sunday, you’ll have the opportunity to join the biggest open air yoga event in the UK. But this is no ordinary yoga event, oh no! It’s a silent disco yoga event. Adams Antiques Fairs at the Royal Horticultural Hall
