Magic
Autumn has always been described as a magical season, so why not play on this by adding some magic touches of your own? These apples would go very well with autumnal colours, and the sticks emulate the bare branches you see on trees during this season.

Simplicity
To totally go against the above, instead of pimping nature, why not just let it do what it does best? Like this example shows, less is more. The use of branches with different colour leaves. plus the pine cones, which scream autumn have been added here to create a very simple, elegant design that would make a great table decoration for any event.
