Includes wireless motors

MotionBlinds will include wireless motors to work with a variety of blinds, including roller, Venetian, cellular shades, and even curtains. These motors will be the first on the market that will support Thread—a low-power networking technology.

“Thanks to the Eve software, this new motor range is a gamechanger in the interior window coverings market. The simplicity of both installation and use is unmatched. All complexity is eliminated, and the installation time drastically reduced. Combined with the fact that you don’t need a hub anymore this offers major cost advantages.

It opens up the way to make motorized blinds available to a broad audience and widely embraced as a product that brings joy and value to everyday life in the home”.

Enhances convenience and security in your home

The HomeKit-enabled MotionBlinds will feature easy installation and allow you to control them via your iPhone. The blinds will connect to Bluetooth, so the setup doesn’t require a bridge.

Simply scan a QR code and the blinds will automatically set up. Moreover, you can use an app or voice commands to control and schedule automation instantly. In fact, the entire process only takes a couple of seconds.

To improve usability throughout your purchase, you’ll even see improvements and updates automatically in the Eve app.

Once connected, the smart window blinds will become part of an overall smarter home ecosystem. This allows you to customize the ambiance, safety, and comfort at any part of the day.

Furthermore, these smart window blinds will play an important role in your home’s security. Moreover, these HomeKit-enabled blinds will provide comfort, privacy, and an automation system. They’ll also protect your data, rather than using a cloud-based solution. In fact, the motor range safeguards your privacy.

“Not only is Thread the third native protocol used by Apple HomeKit, complementing Bluetooth and WLAN. It will also be a cornerstone of project CHIP (Connected Home over IP), the smart home standard of the future that is currently being developed by Google, Amazon, Apple, and numerous IoT-manufacturers.

Thread is sure to become the new standard in low-power home networking which makes our new motors a future-proof choice”.
