Wow, the results are in…and 2014 was kind of a big deal for our organisers!
Together, we helped them process £1 billion ($1.5 billion) in gross ticket sales in 2014. Not that we’re surprised, given the huge surge in popularity of live experiences and events amongst millenials (see our exclusive study here).
But it’s not just that demographic where events are growing, with a seventy percent increase in the number of events held, Eventbrite works with event organisers of all types.
In the UK these include Wired UK’s thought-provoking and insightful tech conferences; Festival Awards 2014 Best Medium-Sized Festival, We Are FSTVL; the challenging Tough Mudder obstacle races; and screenings, concerts and seminars from Amnesty International.
