We launched a big update to the new Eventbrite Neon iOS app we introduced two weeks ago.

You’ll now have additional functionality accessible in the app: dashboard overview, attendee check-in, order handling, and printer set up.

Real-time Dashboard

From ticket sales to event attendance, you can see all this data update in real-time to help you stay on top of your event. If you’d rather not have other members of your team viewing this data, you can limit their visibility through our subuser access settings. On the new dashboard, you’ll see:

  • Total ticket sales and quantity with details of ticket type sold and remaining
  • Option to view sales data by hour, day, week, or month
  • Total attendee check-ins by date, time, and ticket type
Onsite sales not available

We currently do not support payment processing through Eventbrite Neon outside of the US, but we’re continuing to explore solutions that will allow you to process ticket sales at your event. There’s no specific timeline but rest assured, you’ll be among the first to know when it’s available!

Attendee Check-in

This functionality has not changed since our first release of Eventbrite Neon. Like our previous Entry Manager app, Eventbrite Neon lets you scan tickets using the camera on your device and verifies that the same ticket isn’t being used twice. You can also look up or search guests by name to check them into your event. Check-ins are synced with attendees’ order details to track check-in date and time. Check-in features include:

  • Option to automatically check-in guests when they buy tickets onsite
  • Check-ins synced with attendees’ order details to track check-in date and time

iOS & Android users: You can also use the Eventbrite app for attendee check-in and ticket scanning.

Order Handling & Customer Support

Based on your feedback, we’ve focused on making it easy to find order details, issue refunds, and other customer support functions through the app to help you deliver a delightful experience onsite or at the box office:

  • Look up orders by name, email, and last 4 digits of credit card
  • Pull up order details by scanning ticket barcode
  • Order details include ticket type, method of payment, check-in date and time, and any custom information collected during registration
  • Issue full and partial refunds for tickets and orders
  • Print, or re-print tickets and receipts with our Bluetooth or wireless printers
  • Email order confirmation and tickets from the app

Printer Set Up

We’re all about being green with mobile tickets and email receipts, but we know that sometimes you need to print tickets and receipts for guests. In addition to Star printers which you can connect to wirelessly, we’ve added a Bluetooth BOCA printing option. Check out our partner’s BOCA site or Star printer site to buy your own printer.

We hope you’re just as excited as we are to try it out. Eventbrite Neon is available on iOS 6, 7, and 8, and localized in French, German, Swedish, Dutch, Italian, Portuguese and Spanish. Download it now, or update your Entry Manager or Eventbrite Neon app to get the latest version.
