Every decade has a roster of golden TV shows, from kids programmes to their parents favourites, and the ’90s is no exception.

So, in no particular order, here are some of our favourite ’90s TV characters that we think would have made great event organisers!

  1. Tommy Pickles from Rugrats

From uncyclopedia.wikia.com

The relentless curiosity and adventurous nature of Rugrats star Tommy Pickles would make for an ideal event organiser.  We’re confident he’d never put on a boring event, and being an inclusive character, we know he’d make a great host too.

  1. Screech & Zack Morris from Saved by the Bell

From whateverblog.dallasnews.com

Event organisation is a team game, and these are a perfect pairing.  Zack has the charm and vision to pull off almost any event – but only with the help and dedication of his pal Screech to help him get things done.

  1. Tommy the Green Ranger from Power Rangers

From kdramastars.com

The best event organisers know how to kick an event up a notch at just the right time.  The most powerful of the Power Rangers, and being able to summon up the awesome Dragonzord, he definitely knows how to bring in the big guns just when they’re needed.

  1. Will Smith from The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air

From news.moviefone.com

The charisma and style of Will in the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air augur well for his being a highly successful event organiser.  He would definitely be able to negotiate a great deal from all his suppliers, and he knows how to have a good time too.

  1. Buffy from Buffy the Vampire Slayer

From buffy.wikia.com

Smart, fierce and loyal, Buffy would definitely make for a strong event organiser.  Her guest list might be a little weird, but she’s definitely the person you’d want in charge should there be a zombie apocalypse.

  1. Agent Dale Cooper from Twin Peaks

Analytical and thorough, you could bet every aspect of the event would be meticulously organised and no stone left unturned if Agent Dale Cooper were the man in charge.  He’d also serve up some killer coffee and cherry pie, which can never harm an event.

  1. Mulder and Scully from The X-Files

Another perfect team, Mulder and Scully would help balance each other out when organising events.  Mulder would no doubt have some wild ideas that could well see them overspending, which is why Scully is perfect to keep him in check and bring the event home on budget.

  1. Geraldine Granger from the Vicar of Dibley

From janeannethorne.wordpress.com

Events are about community, and Geraldine sits firmly at the heart of hers, commanding the respect of all kinds of different personalities and balancing out competing agendas with her firm but fair judgement.  Just the kind of character that would make for a great event organiser.

  1. Lynn Benfield from Alan Partridge

From youtube.com

No one wants to attend an event run by a narcissist like Alan Partridge, but his loyal assistant would make a great event organiser in her own right.  Attentive, able to manage big personalities and juggle her time effectively, she would thrive in the role.

  1. Dorothy from Men Behaving Badly

From youtube.com

Dorothy knows how to get her way, and adapts her approach to different situations and characters accordingly, which is a key ingredient to organising events when dealing with multiple suppliers and stakeholders.
