This course is designed for primary care physicians and other healthcare professionals who care for older adults. It will provide participants with the knowledge and skills they need to manage common geriatric conditions, including neurological and oncological disorders. The course will cover a wide range of topics, including: The aging process and its impact on health Common geriatric syndromes, such as falls, delirium, and dementia Neurological disorders in older adults, such as stroke, Parkinson's disease, and Alzheimer's disease Oncological disorders in older adults, such as breast cancer, prostate cancer, and lung cancer Palliative and end-of-life care for older adults Participants will also have the opportunity to learn about the latest advances in geriatric medicine and to develop evidence-based treatment plans for their patients.
