Before Uniswap emerged, no DEX was so popular and so big volume as now Uniswap has done so far. Many centralized exchanges are far behind than Uniswap. Now Uniswap is one of the top volume excahnge (DEX and CEX both).  Many new unique trades and liquidity providers also has played an important role to reach Uniswap as $51B volume. Of the DEXs, only volume of Uniswap is 59.5% which is amazing. But still it has a drawback like fees is too higher than any CEX.
