Our organization is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to work closely with our team on several challenging assignments. You will be responsible for writing code and designing reliable, robust and scalable software. We expect you to take initiative and be self-motivated, but also have the ability to work in a collaborative and cooperative environment.
What you’ll do:
Work with a strong team to build an actionable insights & analytics product used by top NFT traders and communities in crypto
Grow our proprietary crypto data lake in both scope and performance, expand our functional capabilities through ETL processing, and support our internal data exploration and analysis.
Build microservices using Python and Node (and some Go) and streaming services with Apache Kafka
Support dev ops on platforms including Kubernetes and Grafana
Design performant and scalable data models
Write clean, concise and tested code
Join an agile development team with a clear and functional development process
Contribute to the product and business vision as well as product growth as we scale from post-revenue, highly respected startup into a successful, market leader in the crypto analytics space
Who are you?
Demonstrated expertise in programming with a foundation in computer science and competencies in one or more of the following: cloud and container based distributed systems, data structures and analytics, and scalable architectures
The ideal candidate will have familiarity with the crypto ecosystem (including NFTs, Ethereum blockchain, ERC-721, ERC-20, and ERC-1155 tokens)
Holistic thinker who can focus on specific problems while also taking into account the implications for our APIs, data models, and UI/UX
Must be familiar with agile methodologies, such as scrum or kanban
Experience as a technical mentor preferred
Experience building one or more of unit, integration, functional user acceptance, or contract tests
Backend programming knowledge should include Python, Node JS, Go, Java, or similar modern programming languages. Front-end programming knowledge should include React, Typescript, or similar. Database knowledge should include GraphQL, SQL
Comfortable with leading large cross-team initiatives, and collaborating with teams throughout a company
A sense of humor and demonstrated ability to have fun
