This position will support Hanford Laboratory Management and Integration, LLC (HLMI). HLMI is located in Richland, WA, and operates, manages, and maintains the 222-S Laboratory Complex for the Department of Energy. The HLMI members are Navarro Research and Engineering, Inc. (Oak Ridge, TN), and Advanced Technologies and Laboratories International (Gaithersburg, MD).
Requirements
The Cyber Security Specialist will perform Information Resource Management (IRM) activities specific to Cyber Security, support the vulnerability management program on computer systems, and security testing on applications in operation at HLMI.
Responsibilities:
Development, implementation, and maintenance of Standards, Plans, Policies, Procedures, and other documentation in support of Department of Energy (DOE) and National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) requirements for Federal Information Systems.
Perform and support Risk Management activities including Impact Assessments (System Impact Analysis) and Risk Assessments (Authority to Operate).
Develop System Security Plans in support of instrument/SLAN ATOs.
Support training activities including Phishing Campaigns and development and maintenance of training modules and documentation.
Support Cybersecurity Audits, Assessments, Data Calls, Investigations, Incidents, and other duties as required.
Perform FITARA/SCRM submissions for Cyber Security related procurements.
Act as Project Security Officer (PSO) for HLMI.
Maintain HELICS database entries for HLMI.
Respond to Binding Operational Directive (BOD), Emergency Directives, and data calls as required.
Attend Cyber Security related board meetings as HLMI designated representative.
Submit, track, and coordinate System Engineering Control Board (SECB) and Production Readiness Review Board (PRRB) requests.
Minimum Qualifications:
BS degree in computer science or related field plus 8 years of experience with Cyber Security related activities and functions or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge of National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) requirements or similar regulatory framework, FISMA, and RMF.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills as demonstrated by experience interacting with all levels of personnel and customers.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Department of Energy (DOE) and National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) requirements
Experience with Industrial Control Systems (ICS)
Experience conducting Impact and Risk Assessments for Federal Information Systems
Experience with reporting metrics and developing presentations
