Over the next several weeks we will be interviewing Sales Director candidates who have a passion for leading and coaching sales professionals and have the drive to achieve goals when there are performance rewards as a part of that achievement.

Purpose of Sales Director Role:

Create, maintain, and improve sales systems and processes to achieve company revenue and profit goals.

Critical Responsibilities:

The Sales Manager reports directly to the President/Owner and is responsible for the performance of all the sales and business development team

Create, maintain, and improve the systems and processes the team uses, as well as gain the type of buy-in and trust that drives them to peak performance
Create a sales culture that dominates the market, and providing the company with the necessary sales forecasting to drive growth, marketing, and hiring decisions
Guide and coach the sales team, through group meetings, 1-on-1 meetings, and ride-along’s to set goals, receive and communicate progress, praise and development
Spend 50% of your time in the field with the sales staff, as well as working with Estimator/Sales Reps and Business Development Reps
Plan and organize sales goals and track results each month/quarter/year
Manage budget review, forecasting and sales planning for the coming year
