· Deep understanding and rolodex in the Off Road/Overland space
· Strong, verifiable sales relationships in offroad, overland market.
· Has built commissioned and salaried sales force as well as customer service organizations and can speak to personal philosophy, especially when growing thru acquisition.
· Has built, understands and can demonstrate ability to build customer facing sales programs.
· Can demonstrate philosophy and ability to manage volume based discount programs.
· Can articulate experience in managing freight programs as they relate to the overall sales program.
· Has experience leveraging multiple brands and product lines across customers, specifically in a good, better, best branding environment.
· Has experience and can discuss MAP Policy and Enforcement.
· Has experience in navigating potential eCom and Amazon conflict as it relates to all other channels in an omni channel approach.
· Has experience with managing returns programs.
· Has experience and can demonstrate programs aimed outside the wholesale distributor customer and targets Jobbers and other classes of customers.
· Can demonstrate ability to see “white space” sales or development opportunities.
· Is proficient in ability to organize, evaluate and make decisions based on sales and margin data.
· Has and can demonstrate experience in integrating new brands/businesses into the Sales organization.
· Has built an international network/distributers, etc – a plus, but not required.
· Strong moral and ethical compass, Understands responsibility to the team
· Someone with absolute confidence, strong decision making, yet intellectually curious
· Articulate with a Board Room presence
· Travel: Yes, 7-8 trips a year within the US to clients and to big offroad conference shows
