    What is Web Development?
Web development refers to the process of building and maintaining websites. It involves various tasks, including web design, content creation, client-side and server-side scripting, network security configuration, and database management. Web development can be broadly categorized into three main areas:

Front-End Development: This involves everything that users interact with directly in their web browsers, focusing on the design and user experience.
Back-End Development: This deals with the server-side of web applications, managing databases, server configuration, and application logic.
Full-Stack Development: Full-stack developers have expertise in both front-end and back-end development, enabling them to work on all aspects of a web application.
    The Web Development Process
    1. Planning and Research
Before diving into development, it’s crucial to define the project scope. This involves understanding the target audience, setting goals, and conducting market research. A detailed plan helps streamline the subsequent phases of the project.

    2. Design
The design phase is essential for creating a user-friendly interface. This involves:

Wireframing: Developing a basic layout to visualize the website’s structure.
Visual Design: Choosing color schemes, typography, and imagery that align with branding.
User Experience (UX) Design: Focusing on usability and user satisfaction, ensuring the site is easy to navigate.
    3. Development
This phase consists of coding the website. The technologies used typically include:

HTML (HyperText Markup Language): The backbone of any web page, structuring content.
CSS (Cascading Style Sheets): Used for styling HTML elements, controlling layout and appearance.
JavaScript: Adds interactivity and dynamic features to web pages.
Frameworks and Libraries: Popular frameworks like React, Angular, and Vue.js for front-end development, and Node.js or Django for back-end development.
    4. Testing
Testing ensures that the website functions correctly across different devices and browsers. Common testing methods include:

Functional Testing: Verifying that all features work as intended.
Usability Testing: Ensuring the site is user-friendly.
Performance Testing: Checking load times and responsiveness.
    5. Deployment
Once testing is complete, the website is ready to go live. This involves:

Hosting: Choosing a web hosting service to make the site accessible on the internet.
Domain Registration: Securing a domain name that reflects the brand or purpose of the website.
Launch: Making the website available to the public.

    About the Company
At RDX Works, we're a team of like-minded thinkers who have long been convinced that we're living in the earliest stages of a global financial revolution. This revolution is being fuelled by decentralised finance (or DeFi for short), which is enabling an assortment of pioneering developers and entrepreneurs to re-invent almost every financial product that is currently traded and invested in traditional markets, without requiring central authorities or siloed infrastructure. DeFi has captured a great deal of attention and investment in the crypto-aware niche, growing assets under management from $1 billion to over $200 billion in a few years. Impressive as its growth has been, its current market size isn't even a rounding error on the over $400 trillion held in traditional finance. We're focused on what it will take to go from billions to trillions. RDX went back to first principles to come up with the right technical solution—the first layer-one protocol built specifically for mainstream DeFi—and we have already tested out at over 1 million transactions per second. We're keenly aware that the need for an infinitely scalable platform is only one prerequisite among many for mass adoption, and we're also blazing new ground in the areas of purpose-built developer tools, user experiences, and regulatory integration. We have forged a path deep into the future of what distributed ledger technology is going to look like and we need you to come and be part of the team that is making that happen right now.

    About the Job
    What is the job?
Are you interested in leading a team breaking new ground in web3.0 user experiences? Do you believe in the power of games to educate and motivate? Lucky you; you’ve come to the right place!

Web3.0 (and its close cousin DeFi) is the future, and Radix is the first platform focused on bringing the big ideas and potential of web3.0 to reality for everyone. We’re building a network and set of tools that will let developers start building great web apps that empower users to take sovereignty over their identity and their assets.

Now we need you to lead the product definition and creation of a first set of web apps and integrations to the Radix network that demonstrate to other developers how it can be done – and educate a brand new set of web3.0 citizens on how this new world works.

You will collaborate with our Chief Product Officer, a crew of designers, and the top-flight developers of our Projects Team to do just that, starting with a heavily gamified web3.0 app, for desktop and mobile browsers, that will be a personal tour guide to the Radix ecosystem. You will create a new industry standard for user onboarding, making the whole experience simple, friendly and fun!

    What are we looking for?
-You feel at home working in an ambitious, fast-paced environment that requires strategic thinking, understanding of new technologies, and a willingness to collaborate to create user-centered products.
-You’ve seen first hand the importance of good UX and design and will work directly with designers to define how web apps look and feel.
-You like to iterate rapidly toward initial solutions and ongoing improvements that users embrace, using feedback from user testing and internal stakeholders.
-You’re comfortable working directly with a technical lead, developers, and designers – internal or contract – to ensure product concepts are clearly defined and buildable on ambitious timelines through clear documentation and continuous communication.
-Do any of these speak to you personally…? Get **** done, Take initiative, Don’t be a ****, Be excellent to each other, Do the right thing, not the easy thing! If so, you’ll be perfect as these are our core RDX Works values!

    What do you need?
-You have demonstrable experience as a product manager or other product-oriented leadership, including desktop and mobile web app experiences
-You have a technical background and no trouble defining how complex technologies can add up to simple user experiences
-You are enthusiastic in working with developers, business stakeholders, and even marketing teams to make products successful
-You are comfortable and effective with remote work with an international team
    Big bonus points for:

    -A background in game development
-Experience with web3.0, DeFi, and crypto – using or building

Salary is just guidance. Don't let it discourage your application. We believe in paying what we require for the right talent, so just let me know what you’re looking for!
