  • A Yorkie Siberian Husky Mix, often called a "Huskie-Yorkie" or "Yorksky," is a unique and energetic hybrid dog. This mix combines the playful and adventurous spirit of the Husky with the small, bold, and affectionate nature of the Yorkie. As highlighted on Dogs Habit, these hybrids tend to inherit strong traits from both breeds, making them energetic companions who love staying active and forming close bonds with their families.

    About the Company
At RDX Works, we're a team of like-minded thinkers who have long been convinced that we're living in the earliest stages of a global financial revolution. This revolution is being fuelled by decentralised finance (or DeFi for short), which is enabling an assortment of pioneering developers and entrepreneurs to re-invent almost every financial product that is currently traded and invested in traditional markets, without requiring central authorities or siloed infrastructure. DeFi has captured a great deal of attention and investment in the crypto-aware niche, growing assets under management from $1 billion to over $200 billion in a few years. Impressive as its growth has been, its current market size isn't even a rounding error on the over $400 trillion held in traditional finance. We're focused on what it will take to go from billions to trillions. RDX went back to first principles to come up with the right technical solution—the first layer-one protocol built specifically for mainstream DeFi—and we have already tested out at over 1 million transactions per second. We're keenly aware that the need for an infinitely scalable platform is only one prerequisite among many for mass adoption, and we're also blazing new ground in the areas of purpose-built developer tools, user experiences, and regulatory integration. We have forged a path deep into the future of what distributed ledger technology is going to look like and we need you to come and be part of the team that is making that happen right now.

    About the Job
    What is the job?

Do you enjoy the nuts and bolts of how code gets built, packaged, and executed? Appreciate the challenge of creating safe ways of executing untrusted third-party code? Want to spend every day discussing chewy problems with great people? Ready to never, ever look on Stack Overflow for an answer, because there’s absolutely no chance anyone has had to solve what you’re solving? You’ve come to the right place.

We’re building the world’s first purpose-built engine for decentralized finance. Delivering safe, approachable, parallelizable programming suitable for global finance on an open distributed ledger. The big pieces of the design are done, the market test data is in, our community is building like crazy on our pre-alpha, and we know we have a hit on our hands. Now we need to get the next big release across the line and then turn our sights to designing v-next-next.

We are seeking an Engineer with a hefty background in some mix of compilers, virtual machines, and systems design to help implement the execution layer backing our unique asset-oriented programming model.

You’ll start with a period of intense research while you come up with the curve on the design and function of the Radix Engine. Then roll up your sleeves and get straight to building alongside folks who have years of experience thinking about the problem set. Your brain will bend in ways it wasn’t meant to be bent, you will form lifelong bonds with a team of incredible people, and you will forever remember the journey!

    What are we looking for?

    - You deeply understand everything that happens between code written in text files to program execution for at least one high-level language.
    - You have a wealth of knowledge about compilers and interpreters that you never get to use at parties.
    - You’re familiar with the basics of some existing VM architectures and can speak intelligently about the pros and cons of various design approaches.
    - You have previously shipped production software, and understand the importance of timely solutions over academic elegance.

    What do you need?
    - 4+ years as a professional Software Engineer.
    - Strong debugging skills.
    - Fluent in Rust, C, or C++. You’ll be programming in Rust here.
    - Familiarity with the underpinnings of LLVM and WASM is a plus.
    - Solid understanding of computer architecture is also a plus.
