Position Description:

Goodyear is seeking a seasoned Senior Cyber Security / Threat Hunter who will join our dynamic Global IT Risk and Security team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing advanced levels of security planning, consulting and assessments of complex IT security architectures. The role will participate in the design, development, and implementation of cyber / security solutions that encompasses process and technology controls across the global enterprise. The position requires the ability to manage multiple project priorities related to a variety of tasks such as performance of threat hunting, incident management, architectural reviews and sensitive investigations.



Principal Responsibilities:

Define technical architecture and process solutions that when combined together meet their business requirements.
Provide consulting services for IT risk and security expertise to assist business units to meet their business requirements.
Coordinate the engage subject matter experts from across the organization to drive the creation and maintenance of the IT policy manual and associated standards and guidelines based upon the priorities established by management.
Facilitate and/or perform control self-assessments using standard Risk and Control Frameworks for IT and physical asset.
Perform individual or lead team- based IT investigations and analysis of network and computer digital forensics using a standard case management approach.


Required Experience and Education:

Bachelor's Degree in MIS, computer science, engineering, technology, business administration or related discipline.
In lieu of degree 8 years of relevant experience required.
5+ years' work experience in information technology, including IT Security is preferred.

Our organization is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to work closely with our team on several challenging assignments. You will be responsible for writing code and designing reliable, robust and scalable software. What you’ll do:

Work with a strong team to build an actionable insights & analytics product used by top NFT traders and communities in crypto
Grow our proprietary crypto data lake in both scope and performance, expand our functional capabilities through ETL processing, and support our internal data exploration and analysis.
Build microservices using Python and Node (and some Go) and streaming services with Apache Kafka
Support dev ops on platforms including Kubernetes and Grafana
Design performant and scalable data models
Write clean, concise and tested code
Join an agile development team with a clear and functional development process
Contribute to the product and business vision as well as product growth as we scale from post-revenue, highly respected startup into a successful, market leader in the crypto analytics space
Who are you?

Demonstrated expertise in programming with a foundation in computer science and competencies in one or more of the following: cloud and container based distributed systems, data structures and analytics, and scalable architectures
The ideal candidate will have familiarity with the crypto ecosystem (including NFTs, Ethereum blockchain, ERC-721, ERC-20, and ERC-1155 tokens)
Holistic thinker who can focus on specific problems while also taking into account the implications for our APIs, data models, and UI/UX
Must be familiar with agile methodologies, such as scrum or kanban
Experience as a technical mentor preferred
Experience building one or more of unit, integration, functional user acceptance, or contract tests
Backend programming knowledge should include Python, Node JS, Go, Java, or similar modern programming languages. Front-end programming knowledge should include React, Typescript, or similar. Database knowledge should include GraphQL, SQL
Comfortable with leading large cross-team initiatives, and collaborating with teams throughout a company
A sense of humor and demonstrated ability to have fun

The Job

The Principal Engineer will

work with developers, designers, and product managers to implement features for the ATS platform and other internal applications
work on significant critical projects and will take responsibility for all facets of the development process
support and mentor other team members to improve team performance and velocity
gain experience in fintech and build expertise in capital markets and blockchain technology.
Requirements

5+ years of recent software development experience.
Strong development experience using Kotlin or Java, preferably with Java version 1.11 or later.
Proficiency in Object Oriented design and programming.
Experience with build management tools, preferably Maven.
Experience with version control tools, preferably Git.
Proficiency with IDE-based development, especially in Eclipse or IntelliJ.
Proficiency building unit tests / integration tests using JUnit or similar.
SQL/NoSQL development experience
Experience building RESTful web services
Knowledge of data structures and algorithms
Experience with Asynchronous messaging technologies such as Google Pub/Sub, JMS, Apache Kafka, Apache Pulsar, or RabbitMQ.
Experience with production troubleshooting and analysis using log / debugging tools such as New relic, Google stackdriver
