LG’s new concept product—the Transparent OLED TV—makes your walls less cluttered, but it also boasts a wow factor. Released at CES 2021, this concept TV sits at the foot of your bed, and it has a transparent display that’s easy to slide in and out of its casing.

Adjust the position for enhanced viewing

You’re not restricted with the LG Transparent OLED TV. In fact, you can use the screen at various aspect ratios and sizes. The measurements you choose depend on how much you need the TV to extend from the base housing.

If you’re listening to music and want to see the playback data displayed on the screen, you can extend the TV by a small portion. On the other hand, extend it completely to watch a movie and see the screen’s full display. It only takes 25 seconds to fully extend, and this happens automatically at the press of a button.

Experience a transparent screen and built-in speakers

The LG Transparent OLED TV has a clear 55-inch screen. This means you can look through the display—even when you’re watching a movie. This unique design provides a unique finish.

And if you’re concerned that the transparency will negatively impact the TV’s quality, don’t be. Transparent OLED can completely revolutionize the advertising industry and even present colors brighter. Best of all, it can even improve your viewing experience. In particular, this 40% transparency allows you to communicate with people who are walking around the room without having to take your eyes off of the screen.

Furthermore, it features built-in speakers, preventing you from having to plug in external speakers to enhance the audio. LG has yet to release what audio technology the TV will feature. But the company did release that its “Sound Solution technology” is “embedded in the frame”.

Although this OLED TV has an emphasis on storing at the end of your bed, you can conveniently move it around the home into other rooms.
